Just out of curiosity

Is there anybody that is Happy with the 2.5 upgrade of WordPress. I have heard very little happy chatter, and after installing it on my test server, I have to say, I am quite concerned.

So, Happy? Unhappy? Wait until 2.5.1?

What say you all?

    I’m not pleased. Everything is slower and we are suddenly having problems with our web host.

    Our host claims we are causing unusally high load. And frankly, the combined number of visitors from all our blogs combined would be lucky to hit 1000 on any given day. We probably have an average combined number of visitors that is less than 400 or 500 and pages views 3 to 4 times that.

    We have google analytics on the sites and a couple of ads/widgets but nothing terribly heavy. There’s no excuse for this.

    I upgraded yesterday and haven’t seen much of a problem - I like the new interface, but haven’t wanted to mess around much for fear of screwing up my blog.

    I’m still on 2.3 and will probably wait a while to upgrade. I don’t see anything I need urgently.

    AdventureDad! Upgrade to 2.3.3 at least! 2.3 has a horrible security flaw and two of blogs were exploited because of it.

    I like the 2.5 changes. I am just not sure if the host issues are due to the host or wordpress.
