All is right with the world once again. Not only did the Devils finally take a game from the New York Rangers for the first time this year, but it game them home ice for the series.
And to top it off, I just scored super tickets to Game 2 on Friday night.
It will be a long, painful summer for me if the Devils lose to the Rangers in the first round as most of my hockey loving friends are Rangers fans. But I am confident going in. The fact that it took until the last game of the season to finally beat their cross-river nemesis is of no matter any longer. This is playoff season! To top it off ESPN analyst Scott Burnside has picked the Rangers, which to me virtually guarantees a Devils victory.
