Goodness. I am so sick of these no tolerance policies. They're getting to be ridiculous.

I heard last week about a girl that stayed on the school bus so that the bus driver could take her home. She didn't get off at the school because she didn't feel well. On the way home, the bus driver hit a bump or something and fell out of the seat. The girl rushed up to the front and applied the brakes to save the people on the bus. The girl received detention for not following school policy of getting off the bus at the school. Geesh!

I know a guy that just got suspended from school for 10 days for having a knife in his truck. He's a senior and he likes to hunt. I mean, his truck is even painted camouflage. He forgot the knife was in there and they searched his truck. As far as I know, he's never been in trouble before. This really stinks for him.

That's ridiculous. If I were the parents, I still wouldn't shut up about this. Presumably it would have been okay if no money were exchanged for the skittles?
