It's like they're hoping for her to do something bad so there's a story. The comments that Perez Hilton (who everyone knows has no shame or morals) wrote on them are disgusting--it's obviously just two teenage girls goofing around. As for the lying mother, I'd take the tickets away too and let the mother explain it. I hate that media overblows stories like those Miley pictures. It's up to her mother to teach her the way to "win" is not by lying and being a loser. (Perhaps they could give her a middle-ground prize of some sort, just to the girl? I dunno.)
