Friday Focaccia
LatteGirl has her second dance recital this evening. I can’t believe it has been a year since her last one. Nobody really ever explains just how much time seems to speed up once either you get old, have kids (or both). (It also leaves me a little short of Focaccia time today.)
Now that is a punishment – Teen gets suspended from school. Mom makes her stand in front of school with poster as a public punishment. I like this, as I think a little humbling can do a lot more for a bully than just giving them a couple of days off from school via suspension.
Anything for Free – As an experiment, a man ran an ad offering free infection of any PC that is virus free. 409 dumbass people clicked on the ad.
Is China just made of lead? – The latest recall is Lead in Children’s gardening gloves!. This follows these lead-based necklaces, rings and bracelets , as well as these lead-based rings, and (I certainly hope) everybody has heard by now about the Lead in the liners of lunchboxes. Couple this up with the recent problems with Wheat Gluten out of China, and it is really looking like we need to really start pushing on them to either get their safety act together or stop importing from China. I don’t care how cheap it is if it is going to kill us.

Got something to say?

My FIL always says that the days crawl by and the years fly by. It’s so true.
Enjoy the recital tonight!
