Does Yahoo! Mail Hate GMail?

Is it just me, or is Yahoo! Mail sending everything from GMail accounts that aren’t in your Yahoo! Contacts into Spam?

I have noticed this both from the GMail side, where people have not been getting e-mail from me, and then later discover that my e-mails are now routed to Spam, and in my Yahoo! account, the same thing applies, as now all the GMail I get is automatically relegated to Spam.

Considering how much spam my lightly used Yahoo! Mail garners per day, this is a daunting task to constantly go Dumster Diving into the Spam folder for valid e-mails when that little used account seems to garner somewhere in the neighborhood of 500 Spams a day.  I can’t even imagine what people who actually use or publish their Yahoo! Mail account take in.

So is it just me?  Or has anyone else noticed this sudden turn against GMail?

I just tried a test message to my yahoo beta from another email account that’s not listed in the yahoo contacts. It went through fine. My gmail account also goes through, but it’s in yahoo contacts. I hope yahoo and gmail aren’t on a Mac-PC trajectory, or a VHS-Beta one…

    I haven’t noticed anything.

Are you putting ‘cheap canadian drugs’ anywhere in the email? Because that could be the reason.

Well, it’s not just you. I just finished scouring my spam folder before emptying it because
I keep getting the same thing. I’ve been having to do this for about 2 weeks now. I have to
mark each one that ends up in the spam folder as NOT spam so they will route correctly
    next time.
Pain in the arse is what it is. *waves*

Got something to say?
