It may come back and bite me in the ass if I ever have kids of my own, but knowing what I know about being the no-children adult in the group, I'd try to be more conscious of NOT offending the non-children people I know. I'd give specifics about what things parents have done to me that have garnered a "noisy gift" for their child, but that would be writing an entire post in your comments. Actually, I’ll go ahead and say it – I’ve purposely given children of parents who have annoyed or slighted me in some way gifts that were noisy and/or obnoxious.
