Starbucks Drops Hormone Laced Milk
In yet another win against the using of artificial growth hormones (rBGH and rBST) in milk Starbucks announced it will switch to milk without growth hormones.
I have said it before and I will keep saying it. There is no benefit to using milk with these artificial hormones in it. It is not going to send the cost of milk up, in most cases farmers complain about how low the (wholesale) price of milk is. So supplement Monsanto and use these drugs. They are not needed, so any risks associated with it are completely unwarranted.
I will be sending a letter off to Starbuck’s today, thanking them.
