Finally
It was with great joy that LatteGirl was finally able to announce last night that, “My tooth fell out!”
Yes, last evening the Tooth Fairy after several false starts finally made an appearance. As expected, this morning LatteGirl found 2 Gold Dollar Coins under her pillow, and couldn’t wait to tell me this morning about the treasure she got from the tooth fairy.
She has continued inmittently today continued to sing, “My tooth fell oooout, My tooth fell ooooout!”
I don’t remember that long ago if every tooth was as big a deal as the first… but I certainly hope not.

Yay on the tooth finally falling out! Sounds like she was one happy camper!
My husband gave our oldest two dollars for her first tooth, three dollars for the second, five dollars for the third. Then I had to put my foot down. If we kept ‘rewarding’ our daughter for each tooth with increasing monetary value, we’d be broke before she left home! So, $2 is the limit with us.

We give two dollars too. But when my daughter was staying with her grandparents, she lost a tooth and the fairy brought 10 bucks! What?
She lost one just last night and seemed happy with her two dollars again. Grandparents. Sheesh.
